New Staff

New Staff My name is Vincent Liefländer and I am new to DISS. I am delighted to become part of the community. From the very beginning, I appreciated the family-like atmosphere, and I am confident that I will contribute my part here as well. As a natural scientist, I would like to inspire you, especially for my subjects Chemistry and Biology. To do this, we will conduct chemical experiments and explore fascinating natural phenomena. Dear Parents, dear Students,my name is Nadine Zahn, and I would like to introduce myself to you as a new member of the DISS family. I was born and raised in Ulm, Germany. From a very early age, I knew that I would enjoy working with children. Therefore, I decided to study primary school teaching. My main subjects were German and English. After completing my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Weingarten on Lake Constance, I was able to complete my subsequent teacher training in my home region. On July 30th, I was still in a classroom in Germany, and shortly thereafter, the plane to Dubai departed. I am now delighted to be here and look forward to a good collaboration with you and yourchildren. See you soon! Kind regards, Nadine Zahn Hello everyone,my name is Simon Kapp. I come from the beautiful Black Forest, where I taught German, Geography, Technology, and Computer Science for the past six years. From now on, I will be teaching here in Sharjah, and I am very much looking forward to the upcoming time with you all – to exciting lessons and many shared experiences at DISS! My name is Anna Kapp. I studied for a European Teaching Degree with English, German, and Geography as my subjects, and I had the pleasure of teaching in the beautiful Black Forest for the past few years. In my free time, I enjoy spending time in nature and traveling to other countries and cultures. I look forward to getting to know all of you and am eagerly anticipating my teaching activities at DISS. My name is Mohamed Tony and I am from Cairo, Egypt. At the German International School, I will be teaching Physical Education.Sports are not only about fitness, but also about teamwork, respect, and having fun together.I look forward to meeting my students, supporting them in discovering their strengths, and creating an active and positive learning environment.
